Jacob Farmer

An ongoing design project, the Apartment Complex design was one building among several others on a site, which was also designed by the respective building designers. My apartment complex made up one half of a circular shaped building which possessed a courtyard in the center. Individual room design was based largely on Le Corbusier's unite d'habitacion; a room design which uses two stories to eliminate the need for access hallways on every floor. Pushing and pulling of the facade gives the building a very plastic design, creating unique and desireable spaces.
